Copper wire's initial use in telecommunications systems had a basic function. The wire was used to transmit only telephone conversations and telegraph messages. However, the same basic wire design and many of the same wires are being used to transmit signals in the form of an asymmetrical digital subscriber line (ADSL). ADSL is a technology that can send much more data through the use of an ordinary copper wire including voice, video and computer data to the person on the receiving end and sending data back to the telephone company at the same time. Because the copper wire is such an efficient way of sending a signal, technology has shaped itself around sending advanced signals through the already existing wires rather than making new conduits.

Global Hunter Corp. (GBLHF.PK) is pleased to announce initial assay results from its previously announced surface sampling program. The results are encouraging with new gold showings as well as very positive copper oxide assays over wide-spread areas.
